Barça Ready for Historic Game at Renovated Camp Nou this Saturday
Barça revealed their first game will take place at the still-under-construction Camp Nou over the weekend. They will welcome the Bilbao team in the Spanish league 30 months after they moved out for construction to commence.
“We envisioned this comeback. The moment has arrived. Home again at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Not all seats will be available with 45,401 fans are permitted inside as per the current authorization. After final construction, the Camp Nou is due to hold close to 105,000 fans, up from the previous 99,000. Barça announced recent additions comprise a renovated tunnel for players plus modern locker rooms.
Preparatory Events
Barça organized a public practice on the home pitch earlier this month. Officials stated they were hoping for permission from European football’s governing body to play their next home Champions League game versus the German side next month in the renovated venue. Their recent games have been held in the temporary ground.
