Approximately Ninety Air Travels Linked to Epstein Allegedly Arrived at or Departed from UK Airports
A review has identified that approximately 90 aircraft journeys associated to Jeffrey Epstein are said to have landed at and took off from UK airports, with some allegedly carrying British women who assert they were victimized by the found guilty child sex offender.
Flight Logs Uncover Pattern of Movement
The flight logs were among a trove of legal papers and files made public by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been disclosed over the previous twelve months. The analysis found 87 aircraft movements tied to Epstein â featuring many that were hitherto undisclosed â coming into or leaving from British airfields between the early 1990s and 2018.
Onboard Individuals and After Guilty Verdict Flights
Unidentified women were documented among the travelers entering and exiting the UK. Crucially, 15 of these flights involving the UK happened after Epsteinâs 2008 guilty verdict for procuring prostitution from a child.
âThis is âappallingâ that there had never been a âcomprehensive British inquiryâ into his operations in the country,â stated US lawyers acting for hundreds of Epstein victims.
UK Survivors and Legal Proceedings
Evidence from one of the UK-based survivors helped convict Epsteinâs associate socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. Yet, that victim has not received any contact by British law enforcement, as stated by her Florida-based lawyer.
In a response, the Metropolitan police indicated they had ânot been provided with any new evidence that would support restarting the investigation.â They noted, âShould new and relevant evidence be brought to our attention, encompassing any arising from the release of documents in the US, we will review it.â
Ongoing Disclosure and Judicial Decisions
A bill to make public every document held by the American government in regarding Epstein passed the House and Senate last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to follow through. Hundreds of thousands of files are expected to be released.
Additionally, a federal judge ordered last week that the department could publicly release investigative materials from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epsteinâs longtime confidante, who is currently serving a 20-year jail term over the allegations.
